The Junior Varsity football team had its last game of the year on Saturday October 29, at Canisius (NY). The group of sophomores were able to hold off the previously unbeaten Crusaders 14-9 in a windy afternoon of football. Luke Kubiak hit Jahmeir Crockett on a 45 yd score in the first and Alex Baldi connected with classmate Mike Norfolk for a 40 yd strike on a trick play midway through the 3rd. Skyler Neely had two interceptions and the defensive line hassled the opposing quarterback and owned the line of scrimmage for most of the game. The Ramblers depended on the power run game in the 4th and let Wyatt Shaffer pound his way down the field to run out the clock and seal the Victory. The Ramblers finish the year at 5-2-1 and most have decided to come up and aid the varsity on their playoff push.
