JVs beat VASJ, improve to 3-4

Saturday October 13th the Ramblers came away with a 40-0 road win just off the shores of Lake Erie at Villa Angela St Joes in Cleveland. Tamar Sample got the Ramblers started, scoring from 35 yards out on their first possession making it 6-0. The JVs were able to take advantage of sloppy field conditions and moved the ball well on the ground. The offensive line was able to open up holes so Paniro Johnson could score 2 rushing touchdowns before the break. Johnson also added a scoop and score on a fumble for a touchdown. John David Campbell got in the endzone twice, once on a 15 yard run up the middle and the other on a pass in the flat from Sample to put the Ramblers up 40-0 early in the 4th. The sophomores (3-4) return home Saturday night to host the Erie Royals, kickoff is set for 5:00.
