The Junior Varsity opened its season with a 47-0 victory over Central Tech Saturday morning at Dollinger Field. Collin Kelly got things started with a touchdown on the ground and then hit Alex Baldi in the end zone for another score. Sandwiched in between was one of many highlights for the defense as Evan Selker picked up a fumble and ran it back for six to get the Ramblers out to a 20-0 lead at intermission. The defense lead by Jordan Covatto and Jason Lawrence gave Prep a short field for most of the 3rd quarter and Skyler Neely, Luke Kubiak (2) and Sean Johnson Jr. were all able to cash in for second half touchdowns. The Ramblers are at McDowell next Saturday for a 1:00 start.
